Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: ne
Wind Stength: 15/20
Surf / Sea State: choppy/waves and flat !!!
Air Temperature: 17
Sea Temperature: 17
Weather: sunny periods
Max Speed: 25.72 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 30 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Abit of a quiet day so made it to the dip by 2 !! but as it turned out the worst possible time as the tide was approaching tide and the sea was becoming bumpy:( So what made me rig my 7m x-15 and take out my falcon 90 I'll never know !!! as going fast was out of the question but I beat up to the Deben rivermouth and sat on the beach with Darren moaning about the conditions and that after 25 years of sailing at Felixstowe I still have'nt got a board to suit Felixstowes lumpy conditions !!! So I sailed back backed up the slalom kit and rigged the 6.6 by which time Paul S had arrived and said I could borrow his starboard carve 101 which was perfect for the improving conditions :) With the tide dropping Paul.Darren and I sailed up to the rivermouth and enjoyed the best conditions at Felixstowe for a long time as the ne wind is by far the best direction here !!! We enjoyed the whole spectrum of conditions from rolling surf to flat water and all in the sunshine !!! I was lucky enough to get back to the beach before the wind switched offshore - so a top afternoon on the borrowed 101 (many thanks Paul) ebay here I come :)
